The Foaming (Frothing) Barrel is a large establishment built at the site of a pure spring used for years in the brewing of their ale. Leakage of the sometimes excessive magikal activities of the Mage Guild has caused some odd spell-like effects to permeate the water. Lodging, entertainment, a fine kitchen, good quality beverages and of course the water are all to be had here. Though all the recent trouble in the kingdom has left the inn sadly short of customers....
Standing seven stories tall, the towers dominate even the library and the castle. The south tower is used for routine guild business, short term housing of members and dealings between the guild and all non-members. Here also the hardy adventurer may receive commissions from the guild that, if completed, are rewarded by fabulous arcane treasures built by the guild to suit the successful.
Rising some seven stories above the surrounding town, the towers dominate even the library and castle. The north tower is the place where the high and mighty of the guild meet, research and cast their most powerful magicks. As far as anyone knows, no non-guild member has ever entered the north tower. Certainly none has ever emerged. The tower has no windows and only one apparent double door. This is surrounded by hideous relief gargoyles and bares four silver metal faces.
The Gardens of the Afterlife is a cemetery lovingly taken care of by unseen gardeners. Here rest most of the mightiest and respected Mages of Trinsic.
