Anyone is free to travel the roadways of Churt. Like any other settlement, Churt welcomes visitors. The only difference is... one must be more wary of who they are near.
Aa peculiar stench is noticable wafting from the entrance. It seems the previous owner (Slimey) was buried haphazardly under the front stones. A huge female Orc, standing behind the bar counter yells at you to come in and eat. Slimey's Rest was named after Slimey was stomped to death in a bizarre mating ritual. The new female owner, Kussa, provides decent fare at better than average prices, as she has trouble adding numerical figures.
The Orc Holding Pens are unpleasant, even by orcish standards. The cells in which prisoners are kept are strong, and virtually unbreakable. There has never been a forced escape, although the occasional escape through tricking guards has been known to happen. The most common way to earn freedom is through the Battle Arena, which often results in death. Fortunately, death is viewed by most as a preferable alternative to remaining in the Pens.
Kastle Jakrog is a great straggling monstrosity of battlements and wide towers, built primarily of ebony stone. The Kastle casts a gloomy shadow over most of the town of Churt at any given part of the day. Over the centuries each orc king has added new structures to the massive fortress. Jakrog's additions will be saved for later, as he refuses to add a representation of his legacy until he has accomplished a great victory in the name of his orc followers.
